Engineer your future

Many of our BEng / MEng degrees share a common first year, giving you a broad foundation and the freedom to explore. This built-in flexibility means you can easily transfer between courses throughout and at the end of your first year – ensuring your degree evolves with your interests and future ambitions.

A focus on nuclear science and the environment

With the nuclear sector forecast to require an additional 40,000 qualified personnel nationally by 2030, we've been working with Babcock International and the UK Ministry of Defence to delver a specialist nuclear science option* for three of our MEng degrees:
If you require a student visa please note that you will also need to obtain a valid certificate as a requirement for gaining visa approval.
BEng or MEng?
BEng (Bachelor of Engineering) is the traditional way of studying engineering and involves three years of study in your chosen subject, or four years with a placement.
MEng (integrated masters) is a four-year degree (or five with a placement) that extends your studies to masters level and provides a quicker, more direct route to chartered engineer status.
Degrees with a foundation year
If your current qualifications don’t allow you direct entry to degree level, a degree with a foundation year may be a good option.
