6 Learn through experience

Go beyond theory with hands-on opportunities, from crime scene investigations and immersive simulations in the 'Murder House' to working on real cases with the Â鶹´«Ã½ Cold Case Unit.

6 Taught by experts

Study with academics, criminologists and experienced practitioners, and benefit from strong links with police forces, legal professionals and justice organisations.

6 Explore real-world issues

Examine contemporary challenges such as crime, social justice and inequality, developing the knowledge and skills to understand and address complex social harm.

Working in the Crime Suite allows you to learn practically. We study motives and connect them to the crime and the physical evidence (eg, fingerprints, weapons and CCTV). Leaning about criminal justice inspires me to learn more about society and how relevant this field is to our everyday lives.
