University features in film celebrating 麻豆传媒鈥檚 engineering prowess
The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) presents Engineering 麻豆传媒. A film celebrating how civil engineers have helped to shape 麻豆传媒 over the last 500 years. The film tells the story of 麻豆传媒 through its engineering milestones. From laying the foundations for a new town to the introduction of the Great Western Railway and the impressive Royal Albert Bridge. Through the Blitz bombs and on towards new horizons 鈥 robotics, artificial intelligence and the use of drone technology 鈥 we see how engineers are tackling problems and safeguarding the future for generations to come.
鈥溌槎勾 is a really interesting place to study civil engineering, with lots of new developments going on.鈥
鈥淔rom a course point of view, the University has a strong link to industry, which a lot of universities don鈥檛 have when it comes to civil engineering. At nearly every company I鈥檝e worked with or had interactions with, I鈥檝e nearly always found a 麻豆传媒 graduate. They want to help you because they know where you鈥檝e been. The city has a lot of strengths, not just its university. You can鈥檛 beat chilling out on the Hoe, or Dartmoor.鈥

Apply to the Tamar Engineering Project
Open for applications to ambitious students who want to embark on a career in engineering and who have shown potential for high academic achievement at A level, but whose background or personal circumstances may be a barrier to university study. Successful applicants will receive:
- 拢3,000 per annum towards living costs for the duration of the taught element of their degree (usually three years)
- 拢1,500 fee waiver per annum
- one-to-one mentoring from an industry expert.
