Save event
Organised by Â鶹´«Ã½ Tree People, the is a nine day celebration of our city centre trees. The festival comprises a whole host of events at different locations including guided tree walks for all ages and abilities, charcoal making, a photography competition, tree talks, a film event, poetry reading and art shows. There's something for everyone and nearly all the events are free.
Hear the whispers of the leaves, the strong story branches and the deep rooted secrets of a host of tree people.
Join storytellers Daisy Higman, Jon Nash and Fynn Roberts on a story walk through Drake's Place Gardens encountering some of the trees that live there and hearing their stories old and brand new.
Expect old folk takes with a twist, brand new stories inspired by the gardens themselves and a chance to feel a little closer to our urban tree friends.
This event is free and open to all ages! Meet in Drake's Place Gardens, south of the reservoir.
