One of the latest developments in the world of building from natural materials has been the development of automated construction methods to make housing built from earth more affordable and higher quality, with a dramatic reduction of embodied CO2 than competing construction materials.
will join us from , Bloomington, Indiana, to give an insight into the development of pick and place 3D printing, AI pilots for adaptable automated construction and the practical details of how an entire rig transported on one vehicle can be used effectively to build earth buildings.
The event, held in the Sustainability Hub and the CobBauge Building will give you the opportunity to hear about the latest innovations from the USA alongside some hands-on experience of the CobBauge material, design and performance.
This event is open to Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students and interested professionals.
