My primary research focus is on understanding how environmental toxins—particularly microplastics and nanoplastics—contribute to liver injury, inflammation, and fibrosis. To investigate these questions, I have developed the precision-cut liver slice technology at the Â鶹´«Ã½. This advanced ex vivo model preserves the liver’s complex architecture, immunocompetency, and multicellular interactions, providing a powerful tool for studying liver pathophysiology in a controlled environment.
