Dr Louise Venables is a Research Assistant at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ working on projects to enhance inclusivity in anatomy education. Her background spans psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and science communication, with research experience across health, sustainability, and education. She has led mixed-methods and co-produced studies, often in partnership with communities, and brings a systems-thinking perspective to education and research.
Her work is grounded in ethical, participatory, and equitable practice, with a particular interest in representation within anatomy resources, the accessibility of anatomical language, and widening access to medical education.
Outside of academia, she is active in local government as a town councillor and supports a range of community initiatives. She is also a committed sustainability advocate.
