George Simms is a collator, collaborator, researcher, coder, teacher and instigator. They co-create and develop social and technical practices, protocols and infrastructures through maintainable collaborative practices.

They wrote their PhD thesis on misfit methods for community infrastructuring, bringing focus to how the ambivilant expertise of misffiting within sociotechnical configurations can transform how they are shaped and known.

They are a founding member of In-grid, a London base digital arts collective that brings together technical infrastructures, skills shares, events, and parties. She is also sysadmin of the cozy-cloud.net, helping to maintaining a critical access informed server space and networked practice.
