Prior to arrival
Hall induction
At the beginning of September, you will be asked to complete your hall induction and book your arrivals timeslot on the . This induction will take you through key aspects of life in halls and provide essential information, ensuring you can make the most of your student experience.
Please note: the hall induction is mandatory 鈥 you will not be able to move into halls until it has been completed.

Getting to 麻豆传媒
To help your arrival go as smoothly as possible, colour-coded routes have been created for you to follow. They are available to download via the Accommodation Portal and will also be signposted across the city.
There are a number of bus-only lanes across the main routes into the city to be aware of, including Embankment Road, Exeter Street and Tavistock Road (A386).

If you are arriving by public transport, please ensure that you arrive within your pre-booked time slot. On our website, we have provided some useful information about

You will be invited by email to complete your hall induction and book your arrival time slot via the Accommodation Portal. Find out more about

On arrival
- Please follow our designated route maps to your hall (not the route given by your GPS/satellite navigation system) as these routes have been carefully mapped out to reduce the volume of traffic and disruption within the city.
- You will be directed to park in the drop-off zone and display your parking permit.
- Show your QR code to the team and collect your keys. A member of the team will then show you to your room.
- Unload your belongings into the trolley provided. You will have 20 minutes from your arrival to unload your car.
- Relocate your vehicle to a longer stay car park (maps will be provided).
Please refrain from ordering any shopping deliveries to halls of residence over the weekend of Arrivals. Delivery vans will be unable to park at the halls as we have suspended the parking bays in the surrounding roads.
