Rewarding excellent final year research projects in the marine sector

Through a generous donation from , the Marine Institute is able to offer current undergraduate students the opportunity to be recognised for high quality performance in their final year research project. The Project Prize rewards excellent final year research that is related to the marine sector and is of relevance to : Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources.

The prize

First prize is £300, second prize is £150, awarded in recognition of academic excellence.

Winners will be officially announced at the graduation ceremony.

Final year students can apply to be considered for the prize and will need to request a supporting statement from their supervisor. Applications must be made using the specified form.

Applications should be completed and returned to marineinstitute@plymouth.ac.uk by the deadline below.
