Join us for Our Working Lives and the Future of Food: Innovations in Edible Packaging, a lively, hands-on event exploring how sustainable food packaging can transform the way we live and work. Led by a Â鶹´«Ã½ researcher in edible packaging, this interactive workshop and exhibition will bring cutting-edge innovations out of the lab and into the community.
Through inspiring talks, real-world demonstrations, and creative activities, you’ll discover how edible packaging can reduce plastic waste, protect ecosystems, and open up new opportunities for businesses and workers in the food sector. Taste, touch, and see the future of packaging for yourself, and learn how these solutions can be adopted in workplaces, homes, and communities.
The event is designed for food workers, small business owners, packaging industry professionals, and anyone passionate about sustainability. Whether you’re a chef, a café owner, a packaging designer, or a conscious consumer, you’ll find practical ideas, new connections, and a platform to share your experiences and concerns. Together, we’ll explore how our working lives and daily choices can contribute to positive environmental change.
With interactive elements such as edible packaging tasting sessions, demonstrations, and collaborative discussions, this is your chance to co-create ideas for a more sustainable food future — and leave inspired to take action.
Registration is not required, please just drop by.
