Davy building
The Davy Building is primarily used for teaching and research in the field of chemistry and related sciences. It houses laboratories, lecture halls, and facilities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, offering a dynamic and immersive learning environment.
Situated at the heart of the city-centre campus , the building is named in honour of Sir Humphry Davy, a renowned chemist and inventor who hailed from the city of Âé¶¹´«Ã½.

Many of our courses are underpinned by a significant element of practical classes and fieldwork. They are designed to meet the needs of industry and commerce and an emphasis on experiential learning aims to equip our students with the skills required for the workplace.
